Well i'm back from a week of activitys, so i guess that warrents a post.
Last friday i got up at 9am with a plan to buy a tasty tasty sandwich before the camping trip, but i fell back asleep and got up at 10:20 so i had to rush out the door v.v and thus missing the sandwich.
hungry we got passage to adrossen via a mini bus [and starts the scaffing] the ride was pretty much uneventful except i might have lost my Castlevania DS... which is not good. That and bill felt ill.
On the ferry we bought some snacks [which are over priced and starts the saga of gay island prices] we get off the ferry and ride the one bus we didnt need to play the waiting game with, and arived in north sanox about 2pm.
Setting up the tents was going fine untill a sudden downpour premetive stricked us.
forcing me and billy to put the tent up in a rush, thus giving it deep structural flaws we were to lazy to ever fix. [at this point, no race had ever occured...]
Next we had to meet Martan who didnt come with us because he can't comprehend meeting somewere [¬_¬] in any case we missed the bus back, and the waiting game began.
that was basicly day 1
day 2 [i think]
Me, Ray and Martan when into brodick to buy Meths and matchs.
this was fine but Ray not wanting to play the waiting game, decided we should walk back to North sannox..... bad ray!
that plan failed, so we were in the rain on some road waiting for a bus.
when we got back the rain was far to heavy so we retreted to our tents.
the heavy rain formed into a storm, which was the most eventful night.
in a atempt to lessen our hunger, we got non-cooking food from martan, but when getting milk from the "fridge" [a river bag] its holding string broke. meaning i had to go into the rapid river in the horrizontal rain to claim my cerrial milk...
later that night i left again to fix the tent...it was stormy.
day3
Billy and Martan went into town to buy tasty snacks.... they spent like £65 -_-##
on like bowls they used once and a towels...and shit like that.
we didnt really do anything until they returened with all those bags....
that night i'm pretty sure what the first attempt at a fire. [maybe second]
well due to poor wood [¬_¬] the fire was a bit half hearted it kept "rageing" on
due to Yakuza based fire attacks. yeah...
annoyingly enogh the fire kept reviving its self that night even though we had put it out.
day4/5
thinks are a bit fuzzy here... i think we went into brodick, me and ray. martan was already there? we bought... ballons i think... well that happened around then.
back at the camp site, me and billy played "The new super mario bros" which is a good game, as well as filling me and rays tents with ballons ...yeah...
during this duel day, some sports were born.
BALLON RACING:
One man and his ballon verses simular opponents.
the aim is to aid your ballon done the river in a race to the camp site.
the amount you get involved is up to the ballonist, but a true racer helps its all the way.
after teh grand ballon race [billy won, Me 2nd, ray 3rd, chris and martan DNF]
after the the race, basicly the same game except you must stop the ballons, stop them with death [thats if they were living] after this we return and play mario until my batterys run out again.
Next rememberable day 6
Me, Ray, Chris, Martan [billy was to lazy] went around Arran on the bus.
getting the foods and bus me and ray only spend £1.25 of out own money, and that was on stat improving juice.
the bus ride was pretty entertaining, as the bus driver was a bit loopy, as he liked to floor it even on cliffs.
then the day ended i think ¬_¬
day 7, "It all comes down to this, FINAL BOUT"
so we like left and Arran was extra sunny to spite us.
we get on the ferry at the same time as we left it a week ago, so we were in Arrann for almost exactly a week [except martan]
back on the mainland, we could have missed the train, as Chris says "it's coming in 45 mins, i'm going to the shops" the second he was around the corner and down the next street the train came -_-.
we caught it in the end though.
thats pretty much it. my rucksack killed my sholders.
I got bored spell checking, so i'm sorry.
